THE Way

Calvary Chapel Students

There are so many voices in our world today that tell our students who they should be and what they should do. How do they filter those voices and who's voice should they listen to? This November, the students of Calvary Chapel will travel up to Fairmont, Georgia for our first ever Fall Retreat! Over the course of three days and two nights, Matthew Mittelberg from Apologetics, Inc. and the Calvary Chapel student ministry leaders will be speaking with the students about how and why they can trust the one voice that matters - God's. Your student will not want to miss an opportunity to "...grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ." Sign up today as registration is limited.

Sunday nights
'24 - '25

The story of God is a story of trust. God looked for individuals and communities who partnered with Him who trusted His ways above their own in the past; and He still does today. There is perhaps no other section in all of scripture that capture this story quite like Genesis and Exodus. So, this year, we will study and journey through the first two books of the Bible.

As we do, the students (and leaders) will gain a deeper understanding of God's desire for His people to trust in Him completely. We will see that when people trust in their own ways, God is slow to anger and deeply longs to cleanse His people from sins. And finally, through the rescue and redemption of the Israelites, we will see God's desire to dwell among His people.

What To Expect On Sunday nights

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

The Way : Calvary Chapel Students meets on Sunday nights from 5:00pm - 7:00pm at Macedonia Baptist Church.  Our meeting typically begins with food and fellowship. Then we gather as a big group for worship and teaching. This typically looks like a 25 - 30 minute lesson followed by small group sessions in order to have space for questions, application, and deeper discipleship. Both middle school and high school small groups are separated by grade and gender.

After small groups, we will typically head to the gym to play basketball, scatterball, or dodgeball for the remaining time.
