Our Annual Christmas Celebration

For our annual Christmas celebration, middle and high school students will travel to designated host homes throughout our community to share a meal and make memories together.  As they progress through their Christmas themed meal, they will also encounter the Christmas story in a way they have never experienced. You will not want to miss this Christmas Celebration!

Please make sure to sign-up by December 5th.

Calvary Chapel Newnan Students

Show His Love | Share the Gospel | Shape the Community

The Way is the student ministry here at Calvary Chapel Newnan. The Way equips middle and high school students to be authentic and effective disciples of Christ by showing God's love through peer and youth leader relationships, sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ with each other in weekly Bible studies, small group discussions, and one on one interactions, and by shaping the community through local outreach opportunities.

What To Expect

Get Connected. Go Deeper.

The Way Student Ministry meets on Sunday afternoons at Macedonia Baptist Church.  Our meeting typically begins with food and fellowship. After we hang out for a bit we get into our teaching. Middle school and high school separate for this part. This will generally look like a 25 - 30 minute lesson followed by small group breakout sessions in order to have space for questions, application, and deeper discipleship.

After small groups, we will typically head to the gym to play basketball, scatterball, or dodgeball for the remaining time.

Middle School

Middle school students are currently working through a gospel focused curriculum called "The Thread." This study travels through the entirety of the Bible in a single school year!  During this incredible journey, the students will begin to understand that the Bible is not sixty-six random books telling different stories; but one beautiful redeeming story with Jesus at the center of it all.

High school students are also discovering the "big picture" narrative of scripture this year. Starting with God's good creation in Genesis and ending with His glorious new creation in Revelation, we will be choosing specific and strategic books in the Old and New Testaments in order to capture the story of God's grace throughout the Bible.
As the students grow in a deeper understanding of the overall story of the Bible, they will grow in their ability  "...to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge."
