Why Small Groups?

Small Groups are a vital part of our plan to help you grow in Christ.  At Calvary Chapel, our small groups are designed to help you create meaningful relationships with other Christians in environments where spiritual growth can occur.  Our small groups are sermon based groups, which means that each of our groups are taking a deeper look at the Sunday sermon with other believers during the week.  

For the most part, Small Groups at Calvary Chapel are not separated by demographics or a season of life, but are designed to be a snap shot of Sunday mornings; where men and women, young and old can learn and grow in Christ together. However there are a few groups that are season of life or gender based if that's what you're looking for.

Nick and Kate Hayes  &

Daniel and Brittany Leatherwood

Nick Hayes and Daniel Leatherwood  are co-leading a small group that will meet  twice a month on Wednesdays at 6:30 pm. We will have dinner together followed by sermon discussion and praying for each other.
Kids are welcome.

(Ladies Only)

Young women, mature women, single women, married women… All are welcome. Many of our ladies attend other small groups with their husbands, but come to this one too. There's just something about girl time!  A light supper is provided by the ladies in rotation.

Online Small Group option led by Menai Moore. This group is ideal for travelers! If you have hesitated to join a group because of work restraints or you know consistency is an issue for “whatever” reason, we are the perfect fit.

The Legacy Group is a sermon-based small group for ladies 55 and older and meets at Kay Dover‘s home in the Smokey Road area.  A light lunch is provided by ladies in rotation.

We are a family of disciples committed to abiding in God's Word, pursuing authentic community with like minded believers, and becoming more like Jesus together. We'll gather to dive into the word of God, encourage one another, and create space for the Holy Spirit to deepen what God is doing in our hearts. Come ready to engage, ask questions, and grow alongside us.
