Job 28-31 Wisdom, and Job's Personal Defense
After receiving poor council from friends, whose understanding was that Jobs suffering was an indication of his sins, Job speaks his defense. He tells his friends that if he had committed sins, that he would gladly receive the chastisement of God with understanding. Nonetheless, Job reminds us that we may not always understand why we're going through troubled times. When we don't understand why, we must remember whom we serve!
