Ministry Groups at Calvary Chapel provide connection points for fellowship, events, prayer, conferences, and missions. Ministry Groups typically meet once per quarter.
This is the way that we connect with one another in larger group gatherings!
Calvary Young Adults
Young Adult Small Group meets on Thursday nights at 7pm and are led by Jeremy and Jennifer Turton. All Young Adults, marrieds and singles, are invited and encouraged to attend. Watch the Calvary Chapel Newnan calendar for more events and Fellowships!
The Ignite Women are led by Kay Dover, and is intentional about connecting all ages of women at Calvary Chapel for intentional times of fellowship, missions, and fun. The Ignite women participate in the Deep South Women's Conference each year, and are involved in many outreach projects in our church and community.
The Master's Men
The Master's Men are led by Bob Page and serve the men of Calvary Chapel. The Master's Men approach ministry from a manly point of view. This group enjoys quarterly fellowships/events and participates in the Deep South Men's Conference, as well as other events that get the men together for spiritual growth, fellowship, prayer, and missions.
Calvary Senior Adults
Calvary Seniors meet quarterly for fellowship, prayer, and fun...and there is usually food! The Senior Ministry has a heart to partner with other ministries in the church as a support ministry, and creates ministry/missions projects periodically throughout the year. This group enjoys celebrating the holidays together, and is led by husband and wife team Jan and Suzette Smit.
The home school mom's group is an informal gathering of homeschool moms. This group usually meets monthy on the first Friday of each month...and the kids stay home with dad! Most of the time, the Homeschool Moms meet at a local restaurant for fellowship, prayer, laughter, spiritual encouragement in training our children, and to support each other in the challenging task of schooling kids at home. Victoria Presley is the leader of this ministry group.
